By Inferno's Light - Starting with an acrylic backdrop of firey oranges a reds, a metallic gold spiral leaps off the canvas. The spiral also has areas subtley "burnt" with an irredentist black Mica revealed at certain angles. This is the sister-piece to In The Pale Moonlight. Both are on 36" x36" x1.5" professional canvases adding an elegant touch to this large statement piece.

Not Always Black and White - The simple dark charcoal and white background of this piece accentuates the stunning and complex spiral over top. Over the charcoal area the spiral has an iridescent white Mica powder, and over the white half the spiral has an iridescent black Mica powder. The combination trips and confuses the eye.
